How long does it take to settle an estate/probate in Nassau County NY? - how long do you have to settle an estate in tn
A friend died in August last year and I am ignorant / look forward to, as the lawyer (executor) is dealing with the liquidation of the estate. To my friend's house in real estate owned, but it seems expensive for this market. If he is obliged to accept a lower offer price in a period of time? Billing is the broker for his "services" as time passes? Is it responsible to be the person in the will, which seems to draw the feet called by the process?

Executors are not paid more than expenses and prior to review by the court for approval. Your task is to obtain the best performance, not the fastest, and nothing will be released at least a year anyway.
If you think there is a problem, return to the Probate Court and petition to revise and replace
